The RevoShaft board measures the rotational speed of a rotating shaft and its direction of rotation with precision, using two pick-ups and a reluctor ring installed on the shaft. A complete system, calibrated to your operating range, operational from the very first revolution.

RevoShaft is built with the smallest possible number of components: fewer parts mean fewer failure points, less wear, fewer interventions.
The conventional toothed pulse wheel is replaced by a smooth anodised aluminium band — a design choice that reduces the risk of breakage and increases long-term reliability; a material that ensures durability.
Power supply to both pick-ups (24 V) is provided directly by the board.

Customization
The zero RPM output value is programmable:
• From 0 to 12 mA for 0–20 mA loops.
• From 4 to 12 mA for 4–20 mA loops.
Resolution guaranteed to one tenth of a revolution.
The same board can be fitted, on request at the time of order, with a voltage analogue output (not software-programmable) in the following configurations:
• 0–10 V
• 0–5 V
• −10 / +10 V
• −5 / +5 V

The board has a compact form factor, manages one shaft, and is compatible with DIN rail installation.

A dedicated software can be supplied with the board for full programming of all parameters via RS-485 serial line. Even on already-installed units, it is always possible to retrieve the active configuration and modify it, with no hardware intervention required.
